PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The proposed Fulton Road/25th Street/Harrison Avenue Intersection Improvement Project will transform the existing intersection into a roundabout designed to improve safety, traffic flow, and community connectivity. The new roundabout will eliminate the existing traffic signal and enhance the intersection geometry, resulting in smoother and more efficient vehicle operations.

In addition to improving traffic flow, the project will provide significant multimodal and pedestrian-friendly upgrades, including ADA-compliant railroad crossings, shorter and safer crosswalks, flashing pedestrian crossing lights, and direct connections to nearby community amenities such as Stadium Park, McKinley High School, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and the West Branch Trail. Together, these enhancements will create a safer, more accessible, and better-connected cooridor for all users.

Current Project Status

Public input is an important part of the project development and provides valuable feedback that helps guide decision-making through all phases of development. There are two ways to view the project information. First, an in-person open house public meeting is scheduled for April 9, 2026 from 5 to 7 pm at the Canton Garden Center (1615 Stadium Park Drive NW). Second, viewing the materials included on this link. The materials included on this link are the same materials that will also be available at the open house public meeting.
