Anderson Road and Vann Road Intersection Improvement Project

Newburgh, Warrick County, Indiana

The project is located at the intersection of Anderson Road and Vann Road and extends 600 feet from the intersection in each direction. A single-lane roundabout will be constructed at the intersection. The center of the intersection is being shifted southeast on order to minimize impacts to the religious facility and residential property. The rounadbout will have a single 16 foot wide travel lane with a 12 foot wide truck apron. The truck apron will be constructed of concrete and have a rolled curb to allow large vehicles room to navigate. Additionally, multi-use paths will be constructed on the north side of Anderson Road and tie into the existing multi-use paths. A new cross walk would be provided across the north leg of Anderson Road to improve pedestrian mobility.
